OakHeart's Mentorship ModelWe are extremely proud to utilize a mentorship model. This means that all new staff are assigned a mentor who will work with you one-on-one with regularly scheduled meetings. Mentorship is in addition to supervision if a clinician is still in need of supervised experience and hours.
We have been lucky enough to have mentors guiding us and supporting us along the way and it is a value of ours to pass these gifts along. We seek to earn the trust and respect of our staff and colleagues and to create a safe place for growth. You deserve to be fairly compensated for your time and expertise, you deserve to work in an environment that feels supportive and respectful, you deserve to work in a healthy culture with healthy communication amongst management and staff. Specifically, the goal of our mentorship model is to: |
- To support your professional development, financial, and caseload goals
- To ensure an easy transition into the practice
- To answer any questions you might have regarding non-clinical duties such as billing, documentation, policies and procedures, etc.
- To provide additional consultation regarding cases when needed
- To provide you with a "go to" person to discuss any questions or concerns you might have
- To help you further develop clinical niche interests and specialties
- To provide you with an advocate within the business
- To make sure you are happy; and that you feel seen, heard, and valued
