Biography
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and work with adults who are struggling with depression, general anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, and relationship concerns. I have an interest in working with parents and caregivers of children who have special needs as well as people who have been impacted by primary and secondary infertility.
Reaching out for counseling can be one of the hardest, but also one of the best decisions you can make. Talking to someone about how you are feeling can be overwhelming. As a therapist, I believe and value honesty, trust, genuineness, and laughter in sessions. My goal in therapy is to create a safe environment so we can work together to explore sadness, anxieties, pain, hope, and happiness.
During our first appointment we will spend time getting to know one another so I can best understand what is bringing you to counseling. Together we will identify some things you would like to better understand about yourself or what changes you may want to focus on in our work together. I encourage clients to think about past experiences and how these experiences provide insight into how they are feeling and relating to others now. Learning more about ourselves can help us navigate difficult experiences, overwhelming emotions, and can help us make changes in our lives.
