Biography
Each of us feel lost and overwhelmed at times in our life and when we go through it, we can feel completely alone. Overcoming hurts, losses, and challenges can seem nearly impossible. Having a support, a guiding hand and someone to walk the journey with you moves that impossible feeling to a place of hope. Through our work together, we will focus on making change using intentionality, exploring authenticity, and focusing on the things within our control. I take a holistic approach to treatment and believe through compassion, my own authenticity, and laughter, we can make the changes you are looking for in your life.
Pulling from several different theoretical styles is important for me in the work that I do, often drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, and Interpersonal Theory (IPT). Regardless of the approach, I strive to create a safe space that allows for you to feel supported.
My focus is to work with clients who have experienced trauma, loss, relationship concerns or are navigating the challenges of a non-traditional or blended family. I also work with anxiety, depression, and life-transitions.
